 Aims of Social Studies

The primary purpose of social studies is to help young people make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world.

1)  Social Science is the study of people and their interactions with one another.

2)It aims the development of national integrity and international understanding.

3)It aims to make a good citizen and development of cultural heritage.

4)It also aims at enabling the students to adjust to their social environment which includes the family community state and nation and in fact the entire humanity

5)It covers the study of communities at all levels, local, regional, national, and international with a focus on man and his social environment.
